Sitting on the outdoor lounge above watching the weaners come up to say hello made me so thankful for the beautiful life we live. Sure it is remote but we love the isolation & the beauty we find everyday is inspiring. 

According to ‘’: Just 5 minutes a day is all it takes to rewire your brain & unleash everything great in your life – & it starts with gratitude!  By practising awareness of the positive things in life, we fight off the brain’s natural tendency to scan for & spot the negatives.  As a result, we train our brains to be more positive & thus happier.

Every night after we have talked about the days events; we go through what we are thankful for.  Our Dashund – Sausage Dog “Astro Black” gets a lot of attention here!!  I started this with our family a few years ago.  I don’t limit the boys with what they want to be grateful for they say everything & anything they want!!  Of course Ipads, TV & technology, get mentions but I’m happy to say that love, family, friends, animals, food, housing & a lot of other things also get thanks!!  We leave it as the last thing we touch on before retiring for the night & I find it a great way to end the day positively!!  Cheri x
